FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
If this is your first photoshoot, don't worry! I'm here to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Relax and Be Yourself: The best photos come from genuine moments. Try to relax and be yourself. I'll guide you through poses and activities to make you feel comfortable.
2. Communication: Let me know your expectations and any specific shots you have in mind. Feel free to share any inspiration photos or ideas before the shoot.
3. Timing and Location: We’ll discuss the best time and location for your session. For outdoor sessions, natural light is ideal, so early mornings or late afternoons often work best. For indoor sessions, we will shoot in midday when the lighting is brightest in home.
4. Clothing: Wear simple, natural, and neutral-colored outfits that make you feel good. Comfort is key, so choose clothes that allow you to move freely and feel at ease.
5. Props and Personal Items: Bringing personal items or props can add a special touch to your photos. Whether it’s a favorite toy for your child or a family heirloom, these items can help tell your unique story.
6. Trust the Process: Trust my expertise and enjoy the moment. I’ll capture a variety of shots, and you might be surprised by how the candid, unposed moments turn out to be your favorites.
Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the experience. This session is about capturing your special moments, and together we’ll create beautiful memories.
How many pictures will I receive?
It depends on the session. Please refer to the Pricing page for details of each package.
Whats your turn around time?
Typically 1 week off-season, and 2 weeks in the peak season.
How far out do you book?
I typically book sessions up to 6 months in advance. This allows us to secure your preferred date and time, especially during busy seasons like holidays and weekends. If you have a specific date or event in mind, I recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability. If you have any flexibility with your dates, we can work together to find the best time for your session.
How do we get our photos?
After your photoshoot, I will carefully edit and curate the best images. Once the editing process is complete, I will send you a link to an online gallery where you can view all your photos. This gallery will be password-protected to ensure your privacy. You'll receive a unique code that allows you to access and download your high-resolution images.
What should I wear?
When deciding what to wear for your photo session, I recommend getting simple and natural look with neutral colors. These tones create a timeless look and ensure that the focus remains on you and your family's expressions and interactions. Soft shades like beige, cream, grey, and pastels work beautifully and complement each other well. Avoid bold patterns or logos, as they can be distracting. Comfort is key, so select outfits that make you feel at ease and confident. Feel free to bring a couple of outfit options, and we can decide together what works best on the day of the shoot.
